Nearest Airport

Nairobi, the capital city of Kenya, is served by Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (NBO) as its primary international gateway. Additionally, Wilson Airport (WIL) caters primarily to domestic and some regional flights.

Weather in Late June and Early July

In late June, Nairobi typically experiences cool and dry weather, with daytime highs averaging around 20-25°C (68-77°F) and cooler evenings. This period is part of Nairobi's dry season, offering pleasant conditions for outdoor activities.

Visa

All foreign nationals, regardless of nationality, can now enter Kenya without a visa for tourism or business but must obtain a new Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) online prior to travel. The ETA costs USD 30 and government processing takes up to three business days. East African Community nationals are exempt from the ETA requirement.

The conference team will pick up and drop off all out-of-town attendees at the airports. Additionally, shuttle services will be available to transport guests from the recommended hotel to the conference venue and back.
